One of the most common things that potential athletes say is that they aren’t in shape enough to do CrossFit. Seeing someone doing CrossFit movements is intimidating, foreign, and scary for many people. The amazing thing is, the average CrossFit athlete looks a lot more like a grandmother than a Navy Seal these days. CrossFit began in the early 2000’s as a way for individuals in professions that required them to be physically fit to stay in shape: firefighters, police officers, military war fighters. Today, CrossFit takes on new meaning every day. CrossFit trains everyone from the grandfather so that he can play with his kids on the floor to the busy mom who just needs a solid workout to give her some peace of sanity where she can focus on herself.
All athletes start somewhere and many of our athletes have never done a workout like CrossFit before. This means that day one is a level playing field. When you enter our doors for an intro, our coaches know how to adapt all movements to fit your unique fitness and mobility restrictions.
The journey is hard, no one will tell you that it’s easy, but the reward is so incredibly worth the dedication, hard work, and perseverance.
Join us in “breaking the mold” of what everyone else thinks you’re capable of, what you think you’re capable of. It’s so much more than the limits you’ve placed on yourself.
