CrossFit is so much more than an hour of working out a day. The dynamic, community driven aspect of CrossFit is what drew us to developing a program that helps at risk youth. The community that CrossFit provides has a lasting impact on the daily lives of our athletes.
Although you might not have anything in common with the people in your class on the surface, the fact that you all suffer through the same workout every day and leave exhausted but fulfilled gives you a common ground. Our goal at Break the Mold CrossFit is that each person enjoys the best hour of their day while at our gym.
What that means for each athlete is different and is directly tied to how they view the gym. Some athletes want this to be the hardest hour of their day so that they can block out all of the noise that surrounds them day in and day out. Some athletes want to have a place to feel safe and carve out an hour of their day away from the responsibilities that consume their life. Some athletes just want to feel better about themselves and the hour spent in the gym helps them to do just that.
