Our gym had the pleasure of welcoming 26 newcomers on January 2nd. At the beginning of the year, we started our first New You Challenge, a 6 week fitness program complete with before and after measurements, goal setting, and three workouts each week. Our group of women range from college students to working moms.
What’s the Schedule?
Our classes run in either the morning or evening sessions. One group attends Monday/Wednesday/Friday at 7am and the other attends class Tuesday/Thursday at 7:30pm and Saturday at 9am.
Small Groups of Women Only
The best part? They’re all beginners and all women so the intimidation factor is much lower than a typical CrossFit class. Many of the women in the class had never used a barbell before but have already learned how to hang snatch, back squat, and push press.
Our midway measurements will be taken next Monday/Tuesday and our women are excited to see their progress thus far. After only two weeks, many of the women have already noticed changes in their appetite, how their clothes fit, and their energy levels.
