Many, many people come to Break the Mold CrossFit as a weight loss solution. While CrossFit is excellent for weight loss, that’s not the whole story. Your body is going to change. You will find muscles are sore that you never knew existed. Because of this, the scale isn’t always the best determinate of your progress.
The coaches at Break the Mold tell their new clients to take a picture of themselves on their first day, this allows you an objective way to see progress when the scale might decide to lie. Each day you walk in the gym, you will learn new skills and do things that you never thought possible. The scale can’t measure that kind of progress. It also can’t measure how you feel.
Our goal is that the hour you spend with us at Break the Mold is the best hour of your day. It will not be easy. You have to do the work, but the reward is so much greater and is measured by a lot more than the number on the scale. Eventually, the scale will tell you a new story. Before then, enjoy the journey. Learn new skills, appreciate the changes the scale cannot see. If you’re having a really bad day, take another picture and compare it to that one you took on day 1. We know you’ll see a difference.
